On Wednesday, October 24, SJA graduates living in the Baton Rouge area enjoyed the second annual Redsticker Social on campus. More than 150 alumnae gathered for school tours and to meet and mingle with other local alumnae. They visited with former teachers and administrators and enjoyed a cocktail reception.

On Thursday, October 25, former members of the SJA/CHS Marching Band, Bruinettes, CHS Cheerleaders, Boosters and Flag Corps gathered in the CHS union for a rehearsal and reception. On the following evening, they performed at halftime of the CHS-Dutchtown football game.

At halftime of the football game, SJA senior Catherine Cangelosi was crowned the 2018 homecoming queen. Cangelosi was crowned by 2017 homecoming queen Anna Koonce, a freshman at California Polytechnic State University. Also named to this year’s homecoming court were seniors Addison Bruce, Catherine Couvillion, Corrine Hutchinson and Parker Wilson.
