Save the date for our 6th annual Sticker Stampede. We are happy to introduce new family-friendly elements and a Sunday Mass celebrated on campus before the races. Our post-race festivities include food and beverages, live music, a Christmas marketplace and a special kids’ area with crafts and games.

In addition to our 1 miler, we will introduce a ½ mile Fun Run to give runners of all ages a chance to participate. Both the 1 mile and the ½ mile Fun Runs will have a color run finish option for any runners who choose to participate. Runners in all races will be issued the same race bibs regardless of distance chosen. Parents can register their children and select the distance that best suits their child’s physical fitness on race day. Parents are allowed to run with children under 5 years old and are not required to register individually. The emphasis is on including family members of all ages and promoting a lifetime of healthy habits.

We welcome alumnae, friends, neighbors and the Baton Rouge community to join us for this family-friendly event. All proceeds from this event benefit the SJA Alumnae Scholarship. This scholarship provides need-based tuition assistance to deserving students and their families and enables SJA to touch the lives of these young women who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to benefit from an Academy education.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where do I select the distance for which I am registering?
A: Pricing is the same for all three distance options. Runners in all races will be issued the same race bibs regardless of distance chosen. Simply start in the race that you prefer to run, and your timing chip will do the rest.

Q: Can I run in more than one distance event?

A: You are welcome to run in multiple distances on race day, but please note that your timing chip will only work for the first race in which you run. If you would like to run the 1 mile and the 5K but have your time count for the 5K, please remove your bib when you run the 1-mile race.

Q: What is the Baby Stroller Pusher Division?

A: This division within our 5K race is for those runners or walkers who are pushing a child in a stroller for the duration of the race. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers who run or walk the race while pushing their child in a stroller.
